Morton Philips have assembled a team of cyclists to support one of the most popular and longest fundraising rides occurring in Australia this year, The Mercer SuperCycle on March 18.
Commencing in Melbourne and finishing in Adelaide, The Mercer SuperCycle encompasses over 1,000km in seven days, traveling along the picturesque and well-renowned Great Ocean Road through Geelong, Apollo Bay, Port Fairy, Mount Gambier, Robe, and Meningie.
Managing Director Phil Morton has committed to this ride, with all funds raised going directly to the Hospital Research Foundation’s Under Our Roof project. Patients undergoing cancer treatment and their families will soon have a new home-away-from-home in Bowden, Adelaide; and it is the only subsidised family-sized accommodation available for country cancer patients near Adelaide’s two largest cancer treating hospitals: The Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Your sponsorship donation for this event will be going directly to supporting individuals who need these services at the most critical time in their lives, and the family all needs to be together at this time to support each other as well as the patient.
The Morton Philips team hope you can see that this work by the Hospital Research Foundation is indeed worthy of support.
Phil is now in serious training mode, and has promised updates along the way for those who donate, as well as a wrap up at the end to communicate the outcome and how your support has been so important to the project.
