103km - The Great Koala Ride 2019

Morton Philips’ Managing Director, Phil Morton took to the streets on Monday with a group of like minded cycling and environment lovers on a 103km ride through the streets of Adelaide, into the Adelaide Hills and finishing at Cleland Wildlife Park.

The ride was led by ambassador for the International Koala Centre of Excellence, Phil Liggett and his partner, Trish to help raise awareness for the conservation of our much adored Koalas and to understand the need to ensure their long term future.

The group rode using the Strava app which mapped out their route in the shape of a giant Koala.

We are grateful to ride organiser, Matt Johnson, Group Executive Director, Economic and Sustainable Development, Department of Environment and Water for inviting Phil along for what was a memorable day.
