Morton Philips Partners with the GOGO Foundation to Support Leadership for Lasting Impact

Morton Philips is pleased to announce a new partnership with the GOGO Foundation, an Australian charity dedicated to supporting women facing significant barriers to employment, including long-term unemployment, trauma and domestic violence.
Through its trauma-informed Inclusive Work Program, the GOGO Foundation helps women rebuild confidence, strengthen wellbeing and develop the practical skills needed to move into safe, sustainable employment. Together with social enterprise initiatives that offer hands-on experience, the Foundation creates pathways to greater independence, economic security and long-term participation in the workforce and community.
As the Foundation enters its next phase of growth, Morton Philips is proud to support the organisation through the appointment of three new Non-Executive Directors, each bringing specialist expertise to strengthen Board capability and support long-term sustainability.
We are seeking strategic thinkers who bring sound governance capability, financial literacy and a collaborative boardroom style, alongside a genuine commitment to social impact. The following three areas of expertise are of particular interest:
Legal (Commercial / M&A / IT & Cyber Governance) - A qualified lawyer with strong commercial capability and an understanding of the social services/NFP environment. Experience in mergers, strategic transactions, risk oversight and cyber/data governance highly regarded.
Fundraising & Philanthropy - A Director with demonstrated experience developing and overseeing fundraising strategy at board or executive level, ideally with established networks across philanthropic, corporate or major donor communities. Proven track record in major gifts, capital campaigns or corporate partnerships. Experience shaping revenue strategy at board or executive level.
Employment Sector Leadership - A Director with deep understanding and/or executive experience within the employment and workforce ecosystem. This may include experience with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, Workforce Australia, business partnerships and business development, ESG strategy, corporate sponsorship, human resource management, recruitment and employment services.
Collectively, these appointments are intended to enhance governance, broaden strategic capability and support the Foundation as it continues to expand its impact across Australia.
At Morton Philips, we believe strong governance and thoughtful leadership are essential to creating lasting community outcomes. We are honoured to contribute our expertise and networks in support of the GOGO Foundation’s mission and the women it serves.
This partnership reflects the value of collaboration between purpose-led organisations and the broader leadership community. By helping strengthen board leadership, we hope to contribute to positive outcomes for more women as they rebuild confidence, capability and connection through employment.
